Product Description
What drawer chocolate boxes are used for
Chocolatier counters, seasonal assortments, corporate hampers, hotel gifting and wedding favours. The drawer format works for chocolate because the tray comes out level: the sleeve lifts clear without dragging across the tops, so decorated and dusted pieces are not marked on the way out.
Typical counts are 9, 12, 16, 24 and 36 pralines in a cut cell tray, or a divided tray for mixed formats - praline, truffle and bar. Cell size is cut to the piece, which stops the shift that breaks a shell in transit, and the same sleeve can be reissued with a different tray for a different count.
Food contact and protection
Chocolate is in direct contact with the pack, so the tray is specified with a food-grade liner or food-contact board rather than plain printed greyboard, and the print face is separated by the liner. Cocoa butter marks the board, so a barrier keeps the presentation clean through chilled display and back to room temperature.
Trays can be cut in one or two tiers with a stepped riser for a larger assortment, and lids or sleeves can be windowed where the assortment needs to be visible on a counter without opening the box.
Why custom chocolate drawer boxes from CRIIO
CRIIO cuts the cells to the actual piece, so a box of 16 filled pralines arrives with intact shells. We confirm liner grade, cell layout and slide tension on a physical sample before platemaking and quote against your quantity, which matters for a seasonal run that has to land on a fixed date.
Sleeve footprint and tray count are specified separately, so one box size carries several assortments and the chocolate range keeps a single shelf presence.
