Retail & E-commerce

Shelf and doorstep packaging for consumer goods – cartons, mailers and display packs that have to work in two very different environments.

The weaker of the two requirements sets the specification, so a shelf pack that also ships is built to the drop test.

  • One pack engineered for shelf face and courier journey
  • Peg-hole, hang-top and counter-display formats
  • Inserts that hold the product and its accessories apart
  • Reorder-friendly tooling so a range keeps one footprint
  • 4 Products
  • Low MOQ
  • 7d After proof
  • Full OEM / ODM

Choosing Retail & E-commerce Packaging

Retail and e-commerce packs fail for different reasons: a shelf pack has to read at two metres, a doorstep pack has to survive a drop. We specify against both, and the harder one sets the board.

  • 01 Fix the shelf face first - brand mark, product and claim in the top third.
  • 02 Then prove the same pack with the product inside against a drop and a compression test.
  • 03 Leave a clear panel for the barcode, price and compliance marks.
  • 04 Design the insert so a bundle change is a new tray, not a new box.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the minimum order for Retail & E-commerce packaging?

500 pcs per design for most runs. Lower trial quantities can be quoted when the board, the print and the insert are kept to a format we already tool, since only the artwork changes.

2. Can we use our own artwork for Retail & E-commerce packaging?

Yes. Send AI, PDF or CDR vector artwork at 300dpi in CMYK with bleed. If you do not have artwork yet, we supply a dieline first and our studio prepares a mock-up for approval before platemaking.

3. How long does production take?

Sample 3-5 days / bulk production 7-15 days. The clock starts once the dieline, artwork and board grade are confirmed; rush runs can be arranged around a launch date.

4. Can the pack work as both retail and shipping packaging?

Yes - a retail-ready shipper carries the shelf graphics, closes without a separate outer, and opens on the counter as the display.

5. Which certifications apply?

FSC chain-of-custody on request, ISO 9001 production control, and FDA 21 CFR 176.170 compliance for board used in direct food contact.
