Product Description

Where rigid wine and beer carriers are used

Mixed case gifts, brewery and distillery collaborations, holiday packs, wedding and event favours, and premium retail multipacks sold off a counter. It is the format for a gift that has to carry more than one product and still look like one object.

Bottle-and-can combinations are the usual fill, along with a bottle paired with a glass or an accessory, and the same carrier is used at tastings and trade events where the pack has to be picked up and walked with in one hand.

Mixed cavities, handle and load path

Cans and bottles have different diameters and different failure modes, so the tray is cut with separate cavities and a partition - a can must not roll into a bottle shoulder, and aluminium dents where a rigid wall transmits load.

The handle carries the whole packed weight, so it is riveted or bonded through reinforcement board rather than glued to the wrap, and the load path runs through the base panel, not the side walls. Black board or a dark wrap hides scuffing in a pack that is handled repeatedly, and the cavities are sized so a cold bottle sweats without softening the tray.

Why custom wine and beer carriers from CRIIO

CRIIO engineers the carrier to the packed weight first - handle fixing, reinforcement and partition are set against your SKU mix - then proof-loads and drop-tests the sample before platemaking.

Because cavity inserts are cut separately from the shell, one carrier runs bottles, cans or a mix on the same tooling, which is where a multipack programme stays affordable as the range grows.
