Choosing Candles & Home Packaging
Candle packaging is specified against weight and wax. Wall thickness, cradle depth and closure follow the filled vessel, and nothing may touch the wax surface.
- 01 Weigh the filled vessel and design the base panel to carry it, not the side walls.
- 02 Leave clearance above a pillar candle so a lid never touches the wax.
- 03 Specify a grease-resistant liner where a wax bloom can reach the board.
- 04 A window shows the vessel but must sit above the fill line, away from heat.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the minimum order for Candles & Home packaging?
500 pcs per design for most runs. Lower trial quantities can be quoted when the board, the print and the insert are kept to a format we already tool, since only the artwork changes.
2. Can we use our own artwork for Candles & Home packaging?
Yes. Send AI, PDF or CDR vector artwork at 300dpi in CMYK with bleed. If you do not have artwork yet, we supply a dieline first and our studio prepares a mock-up for approval before platemaking.
3. How long does production take?
Sample 3-5 days / bulk production 7-15 days. The clock starts once the dieline, artwork and board grade are confirmed; rush runs can be arranged around a launch date.
4. Do candle boxes need special lining?
Where wax can bloom or the vessel warms, the cavity is lined with grease-resistant paper or coated board so the outer face stays clean through its life.
5. Which certifications apply?
FSC chain-of-custody on request, ISO 9001 production control, and FDA 21 CFR 176.170 compliance for board used in direct food contact.
