Product Description
What cylinder tea boxes are used for
Round tubes go to retail loose leaf, gift and sampler sets, hotel and office amenity turns, and subscription packs. A cylinder resists the pressure of a weighed fill far better than a folded carton, so the pack keeps its shape after ocean freight and still looks new on the shelf.
Common fills are 50g - 250g loose leaf, pyramid or paper sachets stacked with a divider, matcha and powder seated in an inner tin, and tea-with-cup gift sets built against a cut tray. Diameter and height follow the fill weight, which keeps a 50g and a 250g pack on the same footprint for one shelf facing. A scoop or spoon can be seated in the lid.
Structure that keeps tea fresh in a round box
Tea loses aroma to light, air and humidity, so the tube is lined rather than left bare. A PE or aluminium-barrier liner is laminated to the inner wall, the lid draws deep over the seam to limit air exchange, and the fill opening is closed with a foil lidding or an inner bag according to the target shelf life. Kraft, white food-grade board or a printed wrap forms the outer face.
Where a gift set mixes flavours in one tube, a divider or individual inner bags keep the aroma separated, and the liner grade is quoted to the fill rather than to the box.
Why custom cylinder tea boxes from CRIIO
CRIIO sizes the tube to the fill weight, not to a stock mould, so the pack holds the declared gram weight without void space and the range stays on one diameter for the shelf. Liner grade, lid depth, print and foiling are confirmed on a physical sample before platemaking, and the quotation is built against your quantity, so the first run and the reorder use the same specification.
Artwork wraps the full outer surface including the lid, so a single tube structure carries the whole flavour range with only the print changing between SKUs.
