Product Description
Where lid and base jewelry boxes are used
Boutique counters, e-commerce jewellery drops, chain rollouts with a fixed planogram, wedding and gifting programmes, and watch, pendant, ring, earring and cufflink packs. At this size the box is the product experience: the customer opens it in one hand, and the tray decides whether the piece reads as considered or as loose stock.
Trays can be cut for a single piece, for a ring pair with a center slot, or as a combo pack holding a pendant with matching earrings. The same footprint is kept across a collection so a display tray stays uniform on the shelf.
Interior fitment for small, moving pieces
Jewellery moves and scratches, so the interior is cut rather than packed. A foam or EVA block is slotted and covered in velvet, flock or suede paper, with a ring pad that lifts the stone above the surface and a chain seat that stops a link riding up over the lid line.
Board thickness is limited by the small size, so a shallow lid on a firm base keeps the pack from feeling flimsy, and the tray is bonded so it cannot shift in transit. Closure options at this format include a ribbon pull, a tissue over-wrap, or a paper belly band over the lid.
Why custom lid and base jewelry boxes from CRIIO
CRIIO cuts the slot to the actual piece - send the stone setting, chain length or a sample and the tray, the ring pad height and the lid clearance are set together and confirmed on a physical sample before platemaking.
Small rigid boxes are where tooling cost bites, so one tray family is engineered to take several slot layouts on the same die, which keeps a growing collection on one box size. Reorder quantities are set to a counter rollout rather than to a container minimum.
