Product Description
What retail display boxes are used for
Point-of-sale positions where the pack has to sell itself: checkout counters, promo ends, cosmetics and electronics demo tables, trade-show booths and convenience aisles. The box presents the product upright and open, so the SKU is identified from a distance without the shopper unpacking anything.
Common uses are a printed header behind 12 - 36 standing pouches or cartons on an angled deck, stepped tiers for small items by price point, a deep tray for folded goods, and shipper displays that go from the pallet to the shelf without being emptied. Deck angle, tier count and header height are specified per placement, since a counter unit and a floor unit are different structures.
Print and structure on a display box
The outer face carries the graphics, so litho-printed sheet is laminated onto E-flute or BC double-wall corrugated depending on the load - E-flute for a light counter unit, double-wall for anything standing on the floor and holding weight. The header can be die-cut to the logo shape, foiled or spot-varnished, and pop-up or locking fronts are available so the unit assembles without glue at the store.
Interior fitment is optional: cut EVA, cardboard dividers or a paper tray hold the product in position on an angled deck, which is where most display boxes fail in transit if left loose.
