Product Description
Where tuck top personal care product boxes are used
Consumer goods that sell on the shelf by weight and finish: small electronics and accessories, headphones and chargers, grooming devices, knives and tools, cosmetics devices, refills and hardware sets, plus subscription and direct-to-consumer drops where the box is the shipping pack.
On a counter the closure does a working job - a customer lifts the flap, sees the fitted contents, and closes it again without the pack going soft. For e-commerce, the tuck tabs keep the flap down through a single-parcel journey, which removes the double-box step and the tissue wrap a carton would otherwise need.
Board, insert and reprint area
This format is built around an insert rather than a lid depth. The cavity is cut in EVA, sponge, moulded pulp or lined paper so the product cannot travel inside the box, and the flap carries the tuck lock on the short edge where a carton would otherwise flex open.
Compared with a gift version, the board is specified against drop and stacking, the wrap is usually a printed art paper rather than a specialty stock, and the outer face is left clear for a barcode, claims and regulatory copy. Side-pull, book-style and end-flap variants share the same tuck lock spec, so one product range can run two opening styles on matched footprints.
