Product Description
Where kraft snap-lock mailer boxes are used
Bakery and confectionery singles, cosmetics and soap, tea and coffee packs, jewellery and accessory counters, promotional and event kits, and any retail pack a customer picks up, opens once and reuses. The undyed kraft face carries an unprocessed look that reads as recycled without needing a printed claim.
Because the bottom locks by pressure rather than glue, the box is assembled at the packing bench instead of in a converting run, so short and mixed orders can be packed by one person. The same format is used as an inner tray inside a larger shipper, where it keeps separate SKUs from touching in transit.
Snap-lock bottom and kraft board behaviour
The base is cut as four flaps that fold against each other and clip under the side walls; the box squares up as it is pressed open, and the locked corners carry the load instead of a glued seam. That makes the pack strong in compression but limited by the board thickness, so it is specified for light to medium product weights rather than for dense goods.
Kraft liner shows the fibre and takes flexo and foil reasonably, but it will not hold fine four-colour detail, so graphics are kept to one or two colours or to a debossed mark. Straight-cut white board is used when a cleaner face is needed at the same structure, and a window or a die-cut handle can be added on the same die.
