Product Description
Where health and supplement cartons are used
Tablet and capsule bottles, sachet strips, powder tubs, herbal and wellness lines, pet supplements, and device-and-strip kits. At this size the box is mostly a legal surface: the front carries the claim, and the panels have to hold the facts table, barcode and regulatory text without crowding.
They also carry the pharmacy counter format where a blister or a strip tray must slide out cleanly, and the DTC replenishment pack, where the carton has to survive a mailer journey without the corners bruising the label.
Board grade and labelling area
White-back SBS is the default where print matters on both faces; CCNB with a grey back is used when the pack is bought on cost and only the outer face prints. Board is light - 300g to 350g - because the contents are low weight and the case has to stack.
Decoration stays restrained: aqueous varnish rather than heavy foil, since the panel copy has to be legible and machine-readable, with blind emboss or braille available on the same die. A tamper-evident seal band or a glued tuck flap is specified where the market requires it, and an inner foil pouch, a desiccant pocket or a strip retainer is cut on the same tooling.
